Planting instructions will be included with your rose.
Once delivered, our rose plants can be left in their pot for up to a year (but they will need to be kept watered and fed), or planted out at any time throughout the year.
EVERWILD ROSE PROFESSIONAL
Between November and April you can expect your rose to have few or no leaves because they are in a semi-dormant state. If this should happen just trim the damaged stem back, the rose will be fine. Please be aware that during the main growing season (May - October) the stems are tender and may be damaged in transit. Your rose will be delivered in a tall pot to allow the long roots to grow straight and strong. In our trials on the farm we have found Eveline Wild to be a strong and healthy rose that produces an abundance of flowers that are as beautiful as they are delicious. For a fuller flavour and to make the most of their decorative qualities, we recommend using the petals fresh. Named after acclaimed patissier and confectioner Eveline Wild, this peach-toned edible rose has a fruity fragrance and a delicate sweet taste with notes of honey and apricot to complement virtually any dessert. Rare filled the director's chair with veteran designer Gregg Mayles, who previously worked on Donkey Kong Country. These are a little frosted from the cold South Downs weather here on the farm, and will spring back into life when the weather gets warmer. Everwild's creative director Simon Woodroffe also left Rare in 2020. Please don’t worry if the stems arrive looking a little black on the outside – we are still very much alive. If this should occur then please prune the stem down to the nearest healthy leaf and your rose will flourish. Please Note: Occasionally stems may be damaged in transit.
